Always Learning

Following up on Ben's ice-biking post, I will share with you, dear readers, an important lesson I learned today whilst riding from Bridgeport to New Haven: 35 degrees fahrenheit is a little too cold for loafers and dress socks.

Ah yes, very true. Its almost time to get out the toe gators. I found yesterday it is too cold to shower right before work and ride with wet hair! Brrrrrr.

I've eased into the whole cold weather cycling thing by getting a cold.

Sorry, I'm not sure this is the right place to mention this, but have you all heard about the standoff between a taxi cab and a cyclist in Toronto? It's tragic.

Here is a Toronto Blog.

Here is a CBC link.

Not to make light of that awful incident (cyclist with severed leg, etc.), but it is amusing that in Canada, they don't say "press charges," but "lay charges," as in "Investigators are still deciding whether to lay charges."
