Unless you live like 50 miles from Hartford, you should probably ride a bike. There are universal complaints about traffic, because most streets in Hartford are no lanes wide. Intracity drives took like three hours and it was seven to West Hartford. The only change I noticed in my commute was that I had to ride in the middle of the road and I couldn't cut through Pope Park.

Duh.
My commute was slightly impacted. They haven't plowed Charter Oak Bridge yet, so I've got an added mile.
I just fall out of my chair laughing when someone tells me it took them hours to go 5 miles. Smugness. Infinite smugness.
