riding bicycles in hartford
Congratulations to you and to Ken for your constructive efforts in bringing this issue to the attention of the general community. Thanks to the Courant, too, for publishing the piece.
Thank you for putting those ghost bikes out. I have been waiting to see what the communities reaction would be, I was hoping the Glastonbury Citizen would acknowledge the Hebron ave bike, I haven't seen anything yet. I was riding on Hebron ave the same night that person was killed, it has bugged me quite a bit. We need a stronger bike culture in CT, thank you for helping to build awareness.---Ryan
FYI... NBC30 did a story on Wednesday evening about the ghost bikes too.
Reminder News and the Courant should have articles out next week. This will be the second one for the Courant. Hebron Ave is scary right there. I usually avoid.
Anthony, I heard via the Glastonbury Citizen that you were trying to get the ghost bikes out to people for whom they have special meaning. I know the father of the man who died on Hebron Avenue. He would like the bike but doesn't know who to contact. Thank you.
