Chuck Schumer, a Senator from New York (for whom I have voted, though not recently, what with how I haven't lived there for a while) and a native of my hometown of Brooklyn, has written a lovely little piece for Huffington Post, pointing out that there is no better way to get to know a place (especially Brooklyn) than on a bicycle.
Read the nice thing he wrote.
Better he should spend his time regulating the banks.
ReplyDeleteI always say that there's no better way to regulate banks than from a bicycle - when you regulate from a car, you're moving too fast and you don't see the details; when you regulate while walking, it takes too long to get anywhere.
ReplyDeleteA bike is also the best place from which to stop people from primarying Kirsten Gillibrand for the same reasons.
